One of those days…

You ever have one of those days where you wake up and don’t want to live because you see literally no point in life?  This is my day today.  I was listening to Kenny Chesney’s song “Who You’d Be Today” in the car and (in case you’ve never heard it, it’s about losing someone you care deeply about at a young age) this one line tore me up inside. He says “The only thing that gives me hope, Is I know I’ll see you again some day.”  I don’t believe in God and Heaven so this line was pure fallacy to my mind.  I do understand why people have religion though.  It gives people hope.  I’m jaded.  When someone dies, I don’t expect to see them again.  That’s just how I roll.
